World Travel Guide

                  Diploma  in  Tourism  [DTM]

Tourism is a new field of studies, which has gained worldwide recognition by international Universities as Bachelor degree in Tourism Management.  ACE College has applied for credit exemptions on subject-to-subject basis with overseas universities.

ACE College had recently launched world tourism websites known as world tourism websites comprising of 152 countries with over 300 official tourism websites as core module of World Tourism Geography.  All these tourism websites are certified by respective international tourism boards as authenticated official websites.

ACE Tourism Training Centre Sdn. Bhd. was licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia on 1^st December 1995 to conduct  Diploma in  Tourism.  

Travel and tourism organization is the world’s biggest industry and generator of jobs, according to a survey carried by World Travel and Tourism Council report (WTTC).  It supports at least 250 million jobs worldwide and contributes about 11-15% to the gross domestic product.  

Tourism  is  borderless,  cross   beyond  national  boundary.    Malaysia   has  placed great  emphasis to travel and tourism industry as it has become the key indicator to national economic growth and revenue.  WTTC figures show that travel and tourism create more than 10 per cent of global economic output and are responsible for one in every nine jobs.   

Eco-tourism plays an increasingly major role in the tourism industry.  With this in mind, ACE Group of Companies had acquired 10-acre land beside the new Kuala Kangsar - Baling near Lenggong, Perak, for its proposed Off-Campus project between Malaysian and Thai Border.  Lenggong is hidden beauty in Malaysia with abundant eco-tourism attractions. UMTC Travels, affiliated with ACE College, is licensed with the Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia for the past 15-year in inbound, outbound and ticketing and is an active member of  Malaysian  Association of  Tour  and  Travel Agents  (MATTA) and  fully   aware of the industry  need  and   aspiration from our students.  Our motto is to produce quality rather quantity of graduates, quantity without quality becomes meaningless.

ACE College has designed a 2.5-year course in tourism studies which included 6-month internship and pragmatic to the industry needs and requirements, namely for travel agency, airlines, hotels and tourism related industry. ACE College realized that there is a growing demand for professional Tour Guides and therefore had included Tour Guide Manual as part of its curriculum.
