Brief Background::
ACE College
was originally registered with the Ministry of Education under the Education Act
1961 as Berjaya Commercial Institution and later changed its name to Associated
Institute of Commerce.
In 1987, it conducted professional accountancy courses at SS2/55 Town Centre (currently used by Poh Kwong Goldsmith), Petaling Jaya, Selangor under the name of Associated Institute of Commerce with the approval from the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry
of Education had formally granted approval to conduct courses in
accountancy, commerce and secretaryship under Education Act 1961 and this is
recognized under IPTS Act 1996.
AIC moved to
its own premises at SS15/55, Subang Jaya Town in early 2000 and obtained the
approval from Ministry of Higher Education to change its name to ACE College in
late 2007.
The College
had applied for accreditation with the Malaysian
Qualifications Agency (MQA) for its Diploma in Accountancy which is
registered with Ministry of Higher Education in 2013.
ACE Group of
Companies acquired 10-acre land in 1999 at Lenggong Valley, Malaysia 4th UNESCO
World Heritage Site for its off-campus
project. 45-minute drive to Baling at Malaysian-Thai Border and 45-minute
drive from Ipoh by Expressway.
The ACE Group
of Companies had also acquired a choice land at 3rd Mile Jalan
Kelang Lama near Mid-Valley Mega Mall, Kuala Lumpur, for its future
development.
