Brief Background::

ACE College was originally registered with the Ministry of Education under the Education Act 1961 as Berjaya Commercial Institution and later changed its name to Associated Institute of Commerce.

In 1987, it conducted professional accountancy courses at SS2/55 Town Centre (currently used by Poh Kwong Goldsmith), Petaling Jaya, Selangor under the name of Associated Institute of Commerce with the approval from the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of  Education had formally granted approval to conduct courses in accountancy, commerce and secretaryship under Education Act 1961 and this is recognized under IPTS Act 1996.

AIC moved to its own premises at SS15/55, Subang Jaya Town in early 2000 and obtained the approval from Ministry of Higher Education to change its name to ACE College in late 2007.  There was undue delay to carry out its project due to various hindrances.

The College  had  applied for  accreditation with the  Malaysian  Qualifications  Agency (MQA) for its Diploma in Accountancy which is registered with Ministry of Higher Education in 2013.
